New Year new year

Another year has passed and I am still the good old wendy. I have another 2 hours before I bid year 2007 farewell. Before that, let me recall what 'great things' I have done for this year. Erm...first, I managed to pass my sem 5, you wouldn't know how stress I was at that time. Secondly, I got a boy friend finally after all these years of searching. The next 'big' event was I went backpacking to japan and bangkok, such a big thing for a small girl like me. To come to think of it, I played hard for the past 6 months. Shopping, eating, lazing around, movies, visiting some new places...u name it I got it. Now it is the time for me to get back on my feet.

So, I decide to write down a new year resolution for 2008.
1. Be hardworking in New Zealand and have to study hard
2. Eat less and exercise more
3. Learn how to cook
4. Do not spend excessively in new zealand

Paddy museum

For anyone who comes to Kedah to visit me, I will surely bring you to the famous paddy museum in Kedah(this is the only place worth visiting). There is a humongous drawing depicting the entire landscape of Kedah, painted by a team of japanese artists.

P/S: Do I look like a farmer in the picture?

Life in Kedah

After a long holiday for about 5 months, I am still stuck here in Kedah doing nothing productive. Luckily, justin came here to pay me a visit. So, I have been bringing him around Kedah these few days. And that is one of the reason why there isn't any new post for almost a week. To be honest, Kedah is quite a boring place. Okay, to be Honest, Kedah is a very very boring place(just ask justin, he will know better). Basically, we just eat, sleep, and watch dvd at home.

However, if u were to throw me to Auckland now, there are definitely a few things that i will miss about Kedah. Firstly, the pirated dvd. It is unbelievably cheap-RM5 each(can you believe it?), you can even change it if it is not clear. My cousin will spend at least RM 100 whenever he comes to visit Kedah(mind you, he has the most impressive collection of pirated dvd I have ever seen).

Secondly, the food is very cheap too. Being a Kedahan, I definitely think that Kedah street food is better than KL. In KL one bowl of prawn noodle will cost u about 4 bucks whereas in Kedah, the noodle is twice as delicious at half the price. And there is a restaurant which we refer to as Lily(I do not even know the real name altho I have been there for more than 30 times), the seafood there is super delicious and cheap.

Japan Museum

This is the museum I visited in japan. It is situated in ueno park in tokyo.
The musuem is superb and you can spend half a day there and the entrance fee is just RM15. Trust me,it was worth my money.

Why I love japan?

1. The foods are super nice and tasty. Even when u buy foods from 7-elevan, they are nicely packed.
2. The weather is so nice, cold and breezy. It certainly cheer up ur day.
3. You can hold beautiful unbrella and act cool during rainy days. The unbrella are available anywhere.
4. The people there are friendly and the girls there are hot too.
5. It is very clean, u hardly find rubbish anywhere.
6. The scenery are extremely beautiful, esp Kyoto...lovely.
7. I luv their gardens, it is always crowded with people and dogs.

I am sick!!!

I just came back from bangkok recently and I am down with severe coughing and acid regurgitation form stomach. It started in bangkok and got a bit severe in Krabi. When i came back Malaysia the nocturnal cough was so serious and I was admitted to hospital in the middle of night. For ur info,I dreaded needle the most and I certainly will put on a fight if someone were to hold a needle(IV drip) and got so close to me. But I was half dead when I waas admitted.

The stupid MO recommmended me to a surgeon and called him in the middle of the night and tell u what, the surgeon sux big time. I was there for 2 days and he misdiagnosed me as having acid regurgitation and this causes the cough. I was so bored in the hospital, luckily Mr.Justin, my love drove from Ipoh to accompany me.
After I was discharge from the hospital, my cough still continued and it worsened, I can't stand it anymore and went to see my family GP and he said I have a chest infection that is bronchitis. I was angry with the stupid surgeon and thanks my GP cuz after taking his medicine I m getting better.

So,the moral of the story is go to ur GP first before approach a specialist and if u insist on seeing a specialist, make sure u find a Doc who is more friendly and full of empathy.

Mother Teresa...

After reading Yueh Wei's blogs, i just followed her and did a test to know who i resemble. Surprisingly, I m liken to Mother Teresa. Guess I will get a lot of comments about this, haha. Goh Yueh Wei is the test accurate not?
